Boooo-ty Blog Coalition Link Up: Drugstore Mermaid Costume Makeup Tutorial

I have to say, I've been so excited about this post! It has been my favorite idea because all I used was easy to find drugstore makeup. From foundation to false lashes, the full tutorial is in the video below! I've also listed all the products below. I went with purple & blue, my favorite mermaid shades! This would work with an color combinations though, especially if they are well pigmented! I highly recommend the turquoise shade I used, it applied perfectly! I won't go into too much detail about how I created it because you can just watch the tutorial above! Easy right? I picked up these fishnets for super cheap too in the costume section.

Face/Brows:
-Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer in 001

- Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in 150 Buff
- NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder in Translucent
- Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser Concealer in 10 Fair
- ELF Brow Kit in Light (The powder side)
- Maybelline Great Lash in Clear (to set them)



Eyes:
- ELF Eyelid Primer in Sheer
- Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Single in Brulee
- Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Single in Kitten
- Wet n Wild 8 Pan Palette in Blue Had Me at Hello
- Wet n Wild 8 Pan Palette in Petal Pusher
-NYC Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Black
- Jordana FabuLiner Liquid Eye Liner in Black
-  Maybelline One by One Mascara in Blackest Black
- Cos Bar Lashes Trio (half falsies that flare) I found these at Target but you can find them from other brands

Mermaid Mask:
- Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Single in Kitten
- Wet n Wild 8 Pan Palette in Blue Had Me at Hello
- Jesse's Girl Eye Dust in Secret Weapon

Lips:
- Revlon Lip Butter in Lip Butter
- L'Oreal Color Riche Le Gloss in The Mystics Shine

Obviously you can use any face makeup you want, but the keys to this mask look are definitely Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Single in Kitten, the Turquoise shade from the Wet n Wild Blue Had Me at Hello Palette, & the Jesse's Girl Pigment in Secret Weapon. Remember to pin the fishnets into place to make it easier to hold your place. Also, use a dense brush so you can pack opn the pigment, a light wash of color just won't look as scale-line.
